Chevron drag bits a one-piece constructions of alloy steel cast with tungsten carbide cutting tips and gauge sides to ensure longer life. Chevron-type drag bits are recommended for drilling in slightly harder and more consolidated materials than step-type drag bits, such as hard shales, limestone, and tougher gravels.

A solid one-piece heat-treated 4140 alloy steel body for bit strength & durability; The bit’s foundation is a single, robust piece of 4140 alloy steel, uniformly heat-treated to achieve superior structural integrity and exceptional resistance to wear and tear, ensuring longevity even in harsh drilling environments.
CNC threaded machining for proper installation & use: Utilizing advanced CNC machinery, the bit’s threads are precisely cut, guaranteeing a perfect, secure fit with the drill string. This precision minimizes wobbling and ensures stable, efficient power transfer during drilling operations.
Forgings are milled to seat the carbide inserts better. The bit’s forged components undergo a meticulous milling process. This creates perfectly shaped pockets that tightly cradle each carbide insert, ensuring optimal alignment and secure retention, which enhances cutting efficiency and bit lifespan.
Select tungsten carbide inserts 5.5 mm thick are standard. High-grade tungsten carbide inserts, each with a consistent 5.5 mm thickness, are carefully chosen for their extreme hardness and wear resistance. Relief is hand-ground behind carbide inserts for maximum performance. Skilled craftsmen hand-grind specific relief angles behind each carbide insert.
